What is Sign In with Facebook?

You can create an account by using the log in with Facebook button. The first time you will want to import your Avatar and information by checking the two Import boxes. This will automatically create your Firehouse Community account with no activation, username or password. You will always have to login with the Facebook button if you choose this method. You will want to uncheck the two import boxes after your account has been created the first time for all future logins, unless you want to import your Facbook settings again. You must always use this login method if you opt for it during account setup. Normal login will not recognize your username or password. You will always need to use the Facebook login button to login into our your Firehouse Community account because your password is not stored on our site.

I forgot my password. How do I retrieve it?

You can use the Forgot your password link in the Login Box. It will ask for your email address that your Registered with. After submitting this information, you will receive an email with a Security Token and a link to click on. Click on the link and copy and paste the token into the box along with your Username. If you get an Invalid Token message, use the Back button in your browser to try again. The system updates every sixty seconds, so the token may not be valid until it updates. After you use the Token, you will be asked to enter your New Password. Then you be prompted to Login with your Username and the New Password. If you have any problems, please Email me your username from the Email address that you registered with. I will reset your Pasword manually and email it to you. You can then Login and change your Password to whatever you want.

I signed up for Firehouse Community but did not get my activation email. Why?

The system sends out emails once every sixty seconds. Please wait at least 60 seconds to receive your email. You may also need to check your spam folder as some mail servers may send unknown senders to your spam or trash folder. If you still don't get it, email help@firehouseministries.org and we can activate it for you manually. You may also have made a typo during registration. Some mail servers may also block all unknown senders. You may want to try a different email account.

 

I tried to sign up for Firehouse Community but a box keeps popping up concerning required fields. I filled them all in. What is Wring?

You may notice a small triangle in the lower left corner of the screen that says there is a script error on page. This is not an error on the page. Javascript needs repairing in your browser. This happens sometimes mainly with Internet Explorer.

 For Internet Explorer 8

Click Tools and then Internet Options. Then select the Advanced Options Tab. Near the bottom of the tab you will see a button under: Reset Internet Explorer Settings. click Reset and then clean out your browser cache on the General tab. This will repair Javascript in your browser. Close out Internet Exploer and then try again. If you still have issues, email us and we will set up your account manually.

If you are using Intenet Explorer 6 or 7, then upgading to a newer version will also repair Javascript in your browser.

 You may also setup your account with Facebook login.

I signed up for the Prayer Group and never got my activate email. Why?

You need to check you Spam and Trash folders with your email account. If it is not there, then it could have been a typo or the account is blocked from receiving emails from unknown senders. You need to add prayerrequests@firehouseministries.org to your Approved Sender's list.

 

I want to make a donation, but is your site secure?

Yes. You will notice the https at the beginning of the link when you click on Donate. This means that you are in SECURE mode and all transmission are secure and encrypted. We also store no payment data on our servers.

 

Why can I not view the Videos?

Our video player uses the Flash player format which is installed in nearly all browsers. If you cannot see the video player, then you need to download and install Flash.

Can I access your site with my Mobile deive?

Yes. Just go to firehouseministries.org and your device will be detected automatically. Videos and Live Streaming may not be viewable, unless your devive supports the required formats. Some other functions may also be limited. You will receive an optimized page for your Mobile device.

I emailed a member but have not received a reply. Why?

Staff Members and the Webmaster generally check emails several times a day. We receive hundreds of emails and will respond to each one in the order that we received them. If you do not receive a reply within 48 hours, chances are we did not receive your message. Please try again as we are eager to hear from you.

 

I cannot see the whole site or parts seem cut-off. Why?

Our site is best viewed in either 1280 X 800 or 1440 X 900 resolutions at 100 percent zoom. You can still access and see all our menu items, but best appearance ifs obtained if viewed at these resolutions.
