To the Person with the question about Suicide: My heart goes out to you because you are thinking about ending your own life. I know you are feeling hopeless, and you feel things will never get any better until you are gone, but my prayer is that you believe me when I tell you this is a lie from Satan. God is a BIG God and “Nothing is impossible with Him.” (Luke 1:37) I can feel in my spirit that you are feeling overwhelmed right now, and fear has taken hold of your heart and everything feels dark to you. I am so sorry that you are hurting so much. Please believe that no matter how bad things are in your life that your Daddy God is waiting for you to let Him guide you and help you out of this darkness and into His light. He is your hope, your strength and your joy. “Call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you.” (Psalm 50:25) Nothing you are going through is too hard for Jesus and He is ready to fix what is broken. Right now go to Jesus and allow Him to restore the joy you have lost. He cares about you like no one else does. You are precious to Him, and you are also precious to your family. If you were to commit suicide it would cause this so much pain. I can feel that as much as I am speaking right now. Maybe the stress and worry makes you feel that you are not loved, and maybe people are not showing you that they love you, but they do! They need you. Life belongs to God and none of us have the right to take it. I want you to know that I usually wouldn’t respond to your question because of fear that I would say something wrong, but I felt so scared for you. So many people are praying for you and God is right there with you. Just reach out to Him, and I promise you He is reaching right back. “We wait in hope for the Lord; he is our help and our shield. In Him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in His holy name. May Your unfailing love rest upon us, O Lord, even as we put our hope in You.” (Psalm 33: 20-22).
