Firehouse Ministries is located in the beautiful city of Mount Airy, North Carolina. We are less than five miles from the Virginia state line and surrounded by the magnificent Blue Ridge Mountains. Firehouse was organized in 1984 with just seven people by our senior pastors Larry and Tammy Johnson.

 Firehouse is an exciting, vibrant, and very real church that has grown to well over 600 people attending the Sunday morning service. We continue to grow due to the fact that our pastor and the FHM leadership team are determined to love God and love people unconditionally. With a contemporary style of worship and a very gifted and spiritual praise and worship band our music is dynamic to say the least.

We are a multi-cultural and multi-ethnic congregation. We live by the principle that God loves the world and so should we, therefore the color of a person’s skin makes no difference to us. We believe that everyone deserves to be treated the same. We are all one in His kingdom.
